about R.A.W. Dance
RHYTHMIC ARTISTS WITHIN (R.A.W.) is a Northern New Jersey-based dance company dedicated to empowering, educating, and training dancers to reach their full potential—both in and out of the studio. Founded by Jonathan "Shwing" Peña and Fred Romano, who bring over a decade of industry experience, R.A.W. Dance fuses movement, fitness, and creative expression to help individuals unlock their full potential.
Our vision is to become a globally recognized hub for transformative movement—where dance transcends boundaries, fostering connection, confidence, and resilience in every person we reach. We are deeply committed to uplifting and supporting our communities, with a special focus on the Latino, Black, and Brown cultures, while welcoming individuals from all walks of life. Through innovative training methods, an inclusive environment, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity, we strive to inspire lives, shape futures, and redefine the art of movement.
Beyond training, we offer performance opportunities, content creation, portfolios, and personalized guidance for those exploring the commercial industry. Whether you’re pursuing a professional dance career or looking to expand your skills in a supportive, nonjudgmental space, R.A.W. Dance is here to guide you every step of the way.
